Why the home is called Emeka’s House
Emeka is Fr. Vin’s cousin. He was born blind. As a child he sat by the
fireplace, mostly on the ashes, while his twin sister was treated as
though she belonged and he did not. He was rarely spoken to. He was
often left unkempt and alone.
That memory never left Fr. Vin. Emeka’s House was built for children
the world tends to overlook, so that no child sits on the ashes again,
unseen. On a return to Nigeria in 2024, Emeka was found, now in his
forties, living with his mother. A blessing, after all those years.
F I N I S H T H E H O M E
The building is complete: fenced, roofed, wired, and waiting. What it
needs now is furnishing. Beds for the children, a kitchen that can cook,
and power that does not fail. Help us carry it across the last stretch

gift each month feeds, treats, and schools one child. You receive a photo
when you begin, and an honest update twice a year. Choose your
